About Cesar Cabrera

Cesar Cabrera has been involved in the fitness and martial arts industries for nearly 17 years. His dedication as both practitioner and instructor developed from an immersion in eastern philosophies and meditation. He truly believes that “technique without philosophy can make for an empty experience but daily practice benefits us, mentally and physically.”

Cesar began his journey as a teenager, studying Korean karate with Master Choi in the DC metropolitan area. His practice lead to intensive training in traditional boxing, Muay-Thai kickboxing and eventually, Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Students gravitated to him before he realized he was an educator—he was often approached for advice while conditioning himself in his favorite training environment—outdoors, on beaches and in parks. He honed his skills in the health and fitness industry, traveling the world to work with an array of clients including celebrities, law enforcement, military populations, professional athletes and soccer moms.

Cesar has since studied boxing in Miami, kickboxing in LA, and Jiu-Jitsu in New York and Virginia Beach. He has trained for 10 years with world-renowned practioner of BJJ and MMA Renzo Gracie and multiple world champions of UFC, Abu Dhabi and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, including Eric Owings, Roger Gracie, Rolles Gracie, Igor Gracie, Gregor Gracie and Gustavo Machado, and Shawn Williams. He credits John Dannahar(renzo gracie black belt) at the Renzo Gracie Academy as a mentor and major source of inspiration, feeling fortunate to have trained at the Renzo Gracie Academy.Cesar is truly grateful to all his Instructors.
